Hi,

I installed my grandson's Samsung mp3 player on my computer to download some
songs. Sometime later, I noticed that in device manager, my hard drive C: is
listed as the name of the mp3 player! I have not been able to get rid of that
name. My C: drive is listed correctly everywhere else. Weird, huh? It
doesn't seem to have caused any problems but I'd like to correct it. Has
anyone ever run across this before that can tell me how to fix it?

Thanks for your help.

In My Computer, the C: icon in the LEFT pane can be rightclicked for
Properties. See if the Volume name is that mp3 player. (The cursor will be
flashing there.)

Thanks for responding.

In properties, under Hardware, Samsung is listed as the drive. When I click
on that drive and then properties, the volume shows Hard Drive (C:).

What do you think?

Actually, that was months ago that I installed the mp3 player. Didn't notice
name change for quite a while and then didn't do anything about it since
didn't know how and it didn't seem to be harming anything. Thanks anyway.
