Home Premium. 5 month old PC.

Lately, my hard drive LED stays on continuously, even if I close all
programs.
Everything seems to be working fine.

Anyone know what could be causing this?
Should I be concerned?

Automatic updates? automatic defragmenting? Indexing perhaps.
If you use Windows Task Manager, click on the "show processes from all
users" and sort by cpu utilization, you might see what might be going on.
You could also check the system logs.

Thanks for your response. Whatever the "problem" was it seems to have
auto-corrected.
