Hard Drive Icon

Some time back, I installed Vista Transformation Pack to my WinXP system then
deleted it. Everything came back to normal except the "C" drive icon in
Explorer which now looks like dialog box with blue bar across the top and
colored dots inside the box. Cannot find how to change the icon back to disk
drive icon.

Open Explorer, click Tools | Folder Options | File Types tab, and under
File Types, look for 'Drive'(it should be toward the top of the list).
Click on it, and click the 'Advanced' button. Click the 'Change Icon'
button. You should have the location c:\windows\system32\shell32.dll (if
not, put it in "Look for icons in this file:"). The drive icon should be
the 3rd one. Select it and click OK and out of the other dialog boxes.

HTH :)

Thanks for quick response but I tried that already and it still shows the
wrong icon.
