Sometime about 6 months ago one of our servers stopped rebooting or shutting
down when asked to. It would get the point where the screen was black but
still running. I can trigger a crash dump but have no clue where to start
reading it to know why it is hanging. Or more importantly how to figure a way
to fix it. We have two other identical boxes (HP DL380G3) that do just fine.
But I always have to remember to use the real power switch to finish a reboot
on that box when doing maintainence.
So who can give me a good pointer to info on how to track this down??
