Hacker used administrator account against me...

My edition of xp has been hacked into and an administrator account ha
been set-up with
a password to block my whole family from using certain applications an
has changed certain
settings so i cant connect with microsoft/remote assistance.... anyway
i would really like it
if anyone knows how to override the admin account or password, i woul
like to get my
computer restored to the way it was instead of reformatting it. th
help would be greatly appreciated thanks

At this point you have no idea what the hacker did. There could be rootkits,
trojans lying in wait, anything. Backup your data and format the hard drive.
Also figure out what you are doing wrong that allows someone to hack into
you computer before it happens again.

But in your case, that may not be the best fix.
If you were really hacked, you probably have no way of knowing the exact
extent of the hacking.
Other than a Clean Install, here is no way of fixing whatever problems the
hacker caused.
You could use a variety of tools in an attempt to clean and repair the
computer but that would not guarantee the damage by the hacker is completely
gone.
