delete administrator account

Hello! I forgot that I've had an admin account all this time, and I'ev been
using a different user with admin priveleges. Since it's the account that's
got all the custom settings, bookmarks, emails, etc set up, I'd like to keep
it...

I'd like to delete the administrator account and use the current account
instead. Note that I want to delete the admin account, not just the admin
password!

Besides, my security/antivirus software allows me to set up users with admin
or limited access, all from one windows xp login/account, so I have no need
for keeping 2 accounts in Windows.

Is it possible to delete the "administroator"? If yes, how? I have Win XP
Pro (full vers.).

If the administrator account can't be deleted at all, is it possible to
import all of the desktop, startup, antivirus, my documents, etc. settings
from the current windows xp account into the administrator account, so that I
can delete the current account and use the administrator instead? I'd really
like to keep just one login if possible.

if you are meaning the built-in Administrator Account, then sorry, you
can't.

Please note:it is NOT good practice to use just the built-in administrator
account for day-to-day use. If that account becomes corrupted, there is NO
WAY you can access your machine without doing a repair install of XP. Create
another user account (give it Admin rights if you want) and use that one for
day-to-day use. Leave the built-in administrator account for emergencies.

Yes, I am talking about trying to delete the built-in admin account. If it
can't be deleted, I was wondering if there's any way to import the settings,
customizations, etc. from the other account into the built-in admin account
instead? Currently, my PC has 2 windows xp accounts - the built-in
administrator, and another with with admin priveleges. (The latter account
is what I've been using, and it's set up the way I want it; I just don't want
to have 2 accounts anymore.)

As I had said previously, my antivirus/security software allows me to create
"users" so that I can make an administrator account, a limited account, etc.
- all through one windows account. So I'm not too worried about
security/safety issues because I'll still be able to limit access using just
one windows account. Make sense?

No
You screw up the build in Admin acct your screwed..........the only way to
fix is a complete repair installation.
You screw up a User Acct with admin priviledges you can fix from the build
in admin account.
A Virus slips past your anti virus software in the build in admin acct then
what???? No other acct to start with no other acct to fix with...bye bye
system.......here comes a 3 hour rebuild
