problem changing user name

I'm having problems changing user names.

I had 2 user accounts. Both were administrators. One was named "xyz" and the
other was "admin". I read that it's not safe to go on the internet with an
admin enabled account. Most of the programs I use were on the "xyz" account.

I decided to use the "admin" account for the internet so I switched the
names of the accounts. Now the old "admin" account was renamed "xyz" and the
old "xyz" was renamed "admin". I changed the setting on the "xyz" account to
limited access.

The problem is that although the login screen saw the change, the Task
Manager didn't. The Task Manager is still seeing the accounts with the old
names. This seems to be preventing my being able to use the "Run As" feature
in the limited (xyz) account.

I tried deleting the xyz account and rebooting, but when I log into "admin"
the Task Manager is still seeing it as "xyz".

Help appreciated.

I think I might know what's wrong now.

I've been having problems printing checks. We have quicken and a check
writing software
program. I'm able to start quicken using "run as". Quicken uses the check
writing software
to print the checks. I tried starting the check writing software using "run
as" and then
tried to print the checks but got an error message to reinstall the program.

The program is already installed into the administrator account and checks
get printed
correctly from that account.

Is there a way to be able to enable the check writing software in the
limited account?

Thanks.

(By the way, the Task Manager still shows the old user name even though the
account name
was changed.)
