Problem if Source field name of pivot table changes

Here is the problem,

If the source field name of pivot table changes how it affects the
pivotfield in the pivot table. What is the setting which allows the user if
source field name changes it should automatically detects which is changed
and should take that field for calculation

E.g.

There is sheet called as Account detail and has a field name "XYZ" and I
create pivot table as PivotTable1 with sheet name "Summary".There is field
called as "Count XYZ" on Summary sheet i.e. in PivotTable1 using XYZ from
Account detail sheet. So if anyone changes the name of XYZ it is affecting
Count XYZ also i.e it showing #Name?

So it must be the problem of linking.
Please help

Hi,

this is the intended behavior. How does Excel know you aren't deleting one
column and adding another?
