administrator account

Hi,
I am somewhat puzzeld. I thought being administrator of my pc but after
a botched installation of a program support told me that I should
control whether I really have admin rights.

When I looked into the user accounts I find an account for ftr (that's
the name for the user Thomas) and for guest (disactived).

Now SIW provides the following info, and I would like to get an
understanding whether I in fact admin rights or not.
TIA

To find out whether a user has Administrator permissions:

Start > Control Panel > User Accounts

The quick test to see if you have administrator rights is to Right-
Click on "Start". If one of the options that pops up is:
"Open All Users", then you have administrator rights.
