GTR crashing with no msg error...

I bought this game called GTR ( a racing game) and it crashes to the desktop...I can start it and edit the driver's profile, choose my car and all the other options, but at the end when i click on START, to actually start racing, the screen becomes black and in one second there's my desktop picture in front of me, and no msg error appears. Can anybody help me?

if your on XP, run the event viewer

start> settings> control panel> admin tools> event viewer

Thanks for the advice...I guess it's to look for the error message...well i didn't find one. I know that an error message appears when a program crashes, but this game doesn't and i am beginning to doubt whether it's crashing or not now...If you have any other advices, please post them..

I have...there aren't for my version. Mine is 1.3 and the patch is for V1.2...and it's only for the german version. I can't get the german version in florida!!!
