Groups in Outlook??

Trying to convert over to Outlook from OE.
-How do I add Newsgroups???
-I'm used to having groups in OE, can and if so HOW do I create groups in
Outlook??
I've imported the contacts, but it didn't import groups, only the contacts
in the main tab.
This is a bigger nicer program, but it's also harder to use simple things,
like contacts.

You don't. Outlook uses OE in News-only mode to read newsgroups.

I'm assuming you're referring to address groups. In Outlook, the closest
thing is a DIstribution List, created with, oddly enough,
FIle>New>Distribution List. Word is, though, that DLs can be fragile and
that using categories to collect contacts together is a better way to go.

Excellent! Catagories....is there a trick to setting those up and moving the
contacts to there???

You now need to set up a news server in OE. Go to Tools-Accounts-Add-News
and use msnews.microsoft.com for the news server to read this group
