group emails have blank message

When sending group emails in Outlook 2003 via exchange, the body of message
is blank to the recipient. This seems to only happen when we are using
categories. Users are sorting contacts by category, highlight category and
create new message to this contact. We applied a hotfix
office2003-kb898058-glb.exe and it is still doing the same thing. Any ideas?

If the format is Rich Text, change it to plain text or HTML. Other email
clients don't read Rich Text well, so if recipients aren't using Outlook they
will experience issues.

Most everyone that is receiving our tests so far are all on outlook 2003 via
exchange. I believe we have already tried changing the format, but I will
try it again.Thanks

Hopefully someone else has a better idea. Do check that those who receive
blanks do not display white text on a white background (don't laugh, I've
seen it happen!).

If white test color was being used, I wouldn't be able to see the text I was
typing in a test email. I saw everything I was typing before I hit the send
button. I don't think that is my issue. Thanks for the input.

here's a test for you (not a solution but possibly a workaround), does your
exchange organization have OWA (outlook web access) enabled? if so view the
blank email in an OWA session, is it still blank ?
