You didn't provide us with much information so it's difficult to
access your problem. Try booting your machine in safe mode to see if
XP will start up. Usually pressing F8 during POST (Power On Self
Test) will get you into safe mode. Reply back with results.

You don't really provide enough information, but it sounds like a
hardware issue, probably video card related. Do some hardware testing.
If you can't do this yourself, take the machine to a good local
computer repair shop (not a Best Buy or CompUSA type of store).
