GPO Management

The current beta of Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware is
designed for home users and does not include management
support such as GPO that is common in enterprise
environments.
Management support will be considered in the future and
there are currently no published plans or time tables for
this.

Thanks

Well, that concludes pretty much concludes our testing of
the product. If you add enterprise support, well give it
another - the product looks great but we need our group
policy to work.

Will we be able to manage it with group policy?

I agree. Group policy management and lock-down of user
settings is essential. I would argue that this product
is even more relevant to business than it is for home
users.

I run the following command:

MicrosoftAntiSpywareInstall.exe /a

and was able to do an administrative installation to a
folder. The resulting MSI can easily be deployed using
group policy.

Please, please let us have an administrative template for
controlling the settings through Group Policy!

Finally, centralised updates integrated with SUS or WUS
would be the icing on the cake.

Many thanks for releasing a great product which shows
great promise.
