GPO and Sites

General question...

I'm trying to configure a GPO that will affect a user differently when they
log into different sites. For example, I want userA, when they log into Site
A to have an IE proxy defined, but when UserA logs into SiteB, no proxy.

How could I accomplish this with the user account staying in the same OU?

You can link Group Policy to a site so that it will apply to all
users/computer that log on to that site. GP is site aware and knows what
site the object is located in.

I would however use a different approach if it is all about proxy
settings (as site GP has some gotaches): WPAD. WPAD lets you define
proxy settings based on the network (people could even use their
machines at home and have different proxy settings applied).

cheers,

Florian
