GPF error in a 16bit executable

Hi there,

I need help regarding GPF encountered running a 16bit
application on Win XP.
We have seperate executables for diff functions. when one
of them which is written is c is called it some times
brings up the GPF error but not always.
ANy particular reasons why this happens & how do i resolve
this one??
Any help with this is very much appreciated.
