running 16bit appln on WinXp machine

Hi there,

Back with some old technologies again...
We have a 16bit application which runs fine win98 & 2K.
but oflate we have been having problems when its loaded on
Win XP machine.
What happens: when we try to save some data into the
access DB it shows "3421 Data conversion type errors".
Well there does not seem to be any problem in code as it
works fine on some other Win XP machine no issues at all,
but only on a few is this problem where we get this this
message.
Can anyone help explaining why this happens how do i
resolve this one. Is it something to do with the user
rights etc & what rights does the user need to run a VB
16bit appln which does need to write into DB ??

Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.
