Got a Bogey in my search side-bar

I've seemed to have picked up a unwanted visitor in my search side-bar, which I can't seem to get rid off. When I start up explorer it opens itself up and after a minute or so suddenly fills the whole screen and the only way to get rid of it is to shut-down explorer or to wait and eventually allows you to click the thing away. I've tried all kinds of anti-virus anti-leech programs but can't seem to shake this one. Any suggestions of how to overcome this problem?
