Search Bar Problem

A

Andre Kuhner

Some spam program made changes to my search options on my
PC. I can't search from the address bar and there is a
Search Bar on explorer that searches using Startium.com.
When I choose to not view the search bar it goes away but
then when I open Explorer again, there it is. How can I
customize my address bar to search form Google and how do
I remove his search bar? Thanks for the help.

Visit the google.com website and download their tool.
Staying away from.. not so nice websites will usually
keep you safe from most of the common "spam" programs
such as dialers, and search bars like u have

Hi- I am having the same problem with the Startium.com
coming up as the homepage... I have yahoo as my home and
I keep correcting the setting ,but upon reboot the same
issue. I did notice in my programs an executable that I
do not know how it got there, and am unable to remove it.
Quickclean goes thru the cleaning process says it is
removed but it is still there...by any chance are these
problems related? What can I do to stop this?
