What gives? I posted message on this site (windowsxp.general) but my message
didn't appear in the newsgroup list. Then I got an email that it was
answered in groupsgoolge! Should I be using groups goolge instead of this
message board?

Google scans news groups and mirrors them, why you didn't
see your post windowsxp.general could be due to an error on
your part or even a glitch on the server.

No, they was not answered in groups.google, they was archived there.
About 4 hours after you send a post to microsoft.public.* using e.g.
OE, it will show up in Google newsgroup archive as well.

Should I be using groups goolge instead of this
message board?

No reason for that really, you just need to look into your Outlook
Express setup to see if you can find out why you have this problem
(note that OE just retrieves 300 posts a time as default, this is
much to few for the windowsxp.general group, due to the large
traffic volume in this group).
