google has been spoofed

Whenever I type in google.com, a different url
called "scanthenet" appears. It only happens with
google.com, although I got a message that it tried to
change my homepage but was intercepted by spysweeper.
Thanks for any ideas.

You may need to fix your registry after that:

1) Restores the missing Tabs in IE (usually spyware related)
2) Unlocks the grayed-out Home Page section
3) Removes the Administrator message in Internet Options
