Waterfox/Google

I use Waterfox on my laptop. In the past if I open a new tab and say want to view Google, I would normally just type Google into the address bar then hit Ctrl + Enter and it would take me to Google, but since yesterday it has not been taking me to google.com, but rather google.rs.
I have done scans on laptop to rule out any nasties, and even uninstalled Waterfox and reinstalled it, but still the same.
