i've heard of (e-mail address removed) but thats probably (and ironically) the
wrong place ;-)

is there a good place to submit wish list items?

Posting them to these groups often works. Hopefully some MSFT employee
sees it and passes it on to the right people. If you don't want that,
the mswish alias should work as well, though it might appear as a
black hole (I wouldn't expect a reply).
