Ghosts of Autocomplete

The autocomplete function of IE is now in the process of
sudgesting web pages that have been cleared from history,
cookies, temp folder, autocomplete folder etc. Source of
files is unknown; cannot even find them in the registry.
Where do I have to go to delete these URLs?

Set Days to keep history to 0.

These are probably coming from the index.dat file in the History folder.
Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder (and the index.dat file) and a new one will be created when
you restart.
Or the History folder can be deleted manually:
