Autocomplete

Hi, I've been reading through a lot of the old posts about autocomplete, but I still can't get my autocomplete to get rid of a few annoying links. I'm using Windows XP, IE 6. I've cleared the history (Internet Options -> Clear History), Deleted Cookies, Deleted Files, used AutoComplete -> Clear Forms, but nothing seems to get rid of them. I've followed the directions on http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm but that doesn't seem to help. It's acting as if certain web addresses were in my "Favorites" list, but they are not in my Favorites list -- that is they still pop up when I type the first letter of them into the address bar. That happens even though the address bar is blank when I click on the down arrow on the right-hand side of the bar. If it were just the "Favorites" sites that were appearing, I could obviously try deleting them, but it's various other sites too. Highlighting and pressing the delete key doesn't work

Where the heck are these addresses hiding out

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that this is a bug in the new IE6. I posted a "bug report" earlier today that I hope someone from MS will look at. I also hope that one of the IE6 developers will come here and tell us all where exactly the autocomplete URLs are stored so we can try to come up with a workaround.
