Ghost

Hello All,
I am using Ghost to back my internal HD to an external HD via USB it takes
all of 12 hours to complete, Is there anything out there that is bigger and
better than Norton Ghost ?

Got the same setup, takes all of 30 minutes at most - you must not have
something setup correctly, maybe you have Ghost using the wrong USB drivers
during the Ghosting process - I'd read the documentation or go to the
Symantec site for information.

I would expect you are using a USB1 connection and must be writing about 60
GB of data. Install a USB2 card if this is correct.

Something isn't right there. How big is your hard drive? I use Drive Image
on a 20 gig partition with about 8 gigs used and it takes about 5 minutes.
Of Course it does depend on the speed of your processor too. 12 hours is way
too long.
