Hi all

I seem to have a program running in the background but cannot find what it
is... let me try and explain...
I can be in any program, be it a game, a graphics program or even while
writing this... suddenly I will be "out" of the program - in fact a good way
to explain is when I'm in a game I will suddenly be in paused mode... or
while writing this, I will suddenly not be typing... if that makes sense?
Sorry, just struggling to explain...

When this happens I have used Ctrl Alt Del to see what is running but only
the program I am in fact busy with shows, nothing foreign....

ANY ideas???? It's really annoying!!! :(

Please help!

I have 2 other problems I have brought to this and Outlook Express forum
before but that have not been fixed... I will address those 2 again when and
if we can solve this one! :)

Go to the Processes tab in the Task Manager. There, you should see a list of
processes going on in the background. You can end several to see which one
is the culprit, but Windows won't let you end the system critical ones (it
will warn you which one it is). Usually, though, a program will crash with
no assistance. If you have error reporting turned off, you may want to turn
it on to see if there's a problem with the program. If so, a part of memory
Windows isn't residing in may be bad. Memtestx86 will help see if this is
the case. You can do a Google search for it.

Hi HeeroYuy

Murphy's ... it hasn't happened again yet... but will keep a close watch and
re-look at your post when it does..

Thanks so long :)
