Everytime I use IE, it opens with a ghost page that automatically minimizes in the task bar. I say ghost because it isn't your traditional blank page that you sometimes get...it actually reflects what your current page is but with the top of the window being the heading of Microsoft Internet Explorer. I can close it but every time I explore a new site or click on a link, I get page after page! I also find that I can no longer open sites that I used to be able to go to before the patch. What is happening?

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
