"ghost" email addresses in outlook

T

tom

my question pertains to "HOW TO DELETE THE EMAIL ADDRESSES
THAT OUTLOOK SEEMS TO REMEMBER FROM PREVIOUSLY SENT
EMAILS, WHEN THEY ARE NOT IN THE CONTACT LIST". AS AN
EXAMPLE: I type the name "MICHELLE" into the senders box
of a new email; a box pops up showing 3 possible
michelle's. the first in the list is just the name
michelle, which is an old address for the third listing.
the third listing in the popup box is the current email
address for the michelle i am trying to send the email to.
the first michelle is the old email address from an email
that i NEVER had in my contacts list, but did send an
email to that old address by virture of replying to an
earlier email from that person. my question is how to get
rid of these "remembered" email address when you dont want
them coming up and they are no longer valid email
addresses or you dont want email going to those addresses.
is there any way to delete this remembered list?

AS you start to type Michelle and you see the drop down with 3 addresses,
use the arrow keys to arrow down to teh bad address and press the delete key
on the keyboard.
