My father passed away July 4, 2005. I have his computer and I can't log in
because it says he should have a password. He told my uncle before he died
that it was my son's name. I tried that, it didn't work. I have tried
everything that I could possibly think of. I don't know what to do. I tried
emailing the manufacturer, but they are no help. Please if anyone has a
clue, let me know. The system has Windows XP Home Edition. Thank you.

Take it to a reputable company. In the first instance, where the computer was
purchased from.

My mother recently passed away. And I setup her internet account. The ISP
wouldn't even talk to me without written proof of Power of Attorney.

You can't ask how to break passwords here.

Assuming you are talking about the WINDOWS passwords, you might have more
luck in a Windows newsgroup. This newsgroup is for questions about the
application "Microsoft Access".

Good Luck,
