Getting error number 0x80040707

I am trying to install a program on my PC and am receiving
the above-listed error message. Does this message involve
XP or is it just pertaining to the program I am trying to
install?

Does it happen with any other programs you try to install? What is the
name of the problematic program? Is there any information on the
program mftr.'s website?
