Getting a TOTAL NUMBER of contacts in a single distribution list?

With Windows 98, when you open an email grouping (distribution list), it gave
you a total number of contacts listed for that group at the bottom of the
list. I don't see ANYWHERE on XP how I can determine the total number of
contacts in a distribution list without counting them one by one (this is
VERY frustrating, as I need to know these always changing numbers
frequently.) Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong or where I can get the
number quickly and easily?
