I recently installed xp pro on my father-in-law's computer
w/o ever removing xp home. Now I have had problems
getting online (network configuration settings), which I
have remidied (I think), and I lost his background picture
on his desktop? Also when he tries to print pictures that
he scanned it shows printing to 99% on the screen, and
seems to be only printing 99% of the picture. Also we are
unable to rotate the picture like we used to be able to
(it is a full size, 8x10 pic). I have tried the
portrait/landscape option and that doesn't seem to be
working. My father-in-law can't be happy with his
recent "upgrade". If able to fix these problems while
leaving xp pro on, fine, but if we need to remove xp pro
please explain to me how to do so, and hopefully it will
go back to xp home with all of the same settings,
pictures, etc in place. Please let me know some options.
Also please respond as if writing to someone who has never
used a computer before. Thank you.
