General Formatting of Text (Underline views in slide show vs print

In moving from Office 2003 to 2007 (Powerpoint in particular) I noticed that
when I underline text (within a text box) in 2007 it appears correctly in the
slide show but does not appear correctly in the print preview, nor does it
print correctly. Issue is that the underline is not quite (but almost) as
high THROUGH THE TEXT as would be a strikethrough in both the print preview
and actual print? What gives, simple issue driving me crazy.
