geforce 6200 drivers

I have replaced my faulty nvidia graphics card with a geforce 6200. The card
is detected by the bios ok and windows detects new hardware but when I try to
install the drivers I get a "the data is invalid" error. I have tried
different drivers, tried all sorts of nvidia driver removal progs (in case i
stiill have an old install) tried booting into safe mode and installing etc
etc.

When I try to just run the install driver program from the install disc, all
installs ok but on reboot windows still hasn't got the driver installed???

Have you tried this driver ForceWare 71.84 (WHQL) www.guru3d.com
should probably have it.

You can find the latest "unified" drivers on www.nividia.com.

Hi

Problem now solved, it was a previous installation of leadtek drivers which
affected the registry.
