Gee Mircosoft are as helpful as ... (Fill in own!)

I was wondering if any one had come across a problem
where files exist on the hard drive, but you can't get
too them.
When I run a defrag, it tells me that I have two huge
files (about 3.5 GB each). But when I actually search for
them they don't exist!
Please can someone point in the right direction because I
am stuck!

I've tried going through the registry, there not there, I
tried a search and loads of data removal and trackers
programs. But still nothing!
Mircosoft won't help me, and sometimes I feel like crying
like a little girl, because I realise that I really hate
computers!

Thanks!
James

before searching go to folder options and select show hidden files

James,
click 'Start' > 'Search' > 'for files & folders.
check the 'Size' box, then select 'at least' 3G.
now check the 'Advanced Options' box, then check the first 3 boxes.
click 'Search Now'
