Hi I have Win XP home installed on my laptop. I want to be able to setup a
user profile with different program starts, and services starts than my
normal profile.

How do I go about this as when I set-up a new user it pretty much takes on
all of my current set-ups I would like to have a custom user profile, which I
start with limited amount of services and memory resident programs. Is this
possible under XP.

Services settings are machine-specific, so they run regardless of what
user logs on.
For other settings: you can start applications user-specific via the
Registry at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
or via
C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\{username}\START MENU\PROGRAMS\STARTUP.
