For those of you changing to Win 7, either from XP or Vista, here’s a list of games that work for me within Win 7, my machine spec is in my signature. Thought this may be helpful to people wondering whether to upgrade or not.
All these games are installed on my machine now and work well:
Wolfenstein
Call Of Juarez: Bound In Blood
Flat Out (Racing Game from Steam)
GTR Evolution
Race 07
Half Life 2 Episode One
Half Life 2 Episode Two
Half Life Two
Left For Dead
Mass Effect
Portal
Dark Messiah Might & Magic
Half Life
Half Life Blue Shift
Half Life Opposing Force
Team Fortress Classic

And those are all the games I’ve tried in Win 7, I haven’t tried a lot of older games.
If you’d like to list any other games that work in Win 7 here, please do, it may be helpful to other people.
If the game only runs in compatibility mode please point that out as it often won’t work for everybody, depending on their hardware spec. Thank you.
It may also be a good idea for people to list games that will not work for them within Win 7.
