I have been having problems with my pc(ACER T120) when i play games, often
they crash just a few mins into game or at most after 30 mins, first the sound
goes then screen freezes,it does not matter what type of game it is,i have
also noticed it does the same thing if im listening to music, the sound
goes...also does the same if im playing on-line games like poker...I've had
the p/c re-formatted by a registered p/c technician,and had all kinds of
sytem checks done on it...i run Norton Anti-virus on my system and keep it
up-dated so i have no problems on my system that anyone has come across...so
WHY do i have these problems with games ect...i own over £750 worth of games
ALL of them suited to my p/c and windows XP home...none of them copied or
anything like that,,so can anyone help me on this matter, before i attack this
machine.........

Well it sounds like sound is a big issue here, have you checked on the Acer
website to see if there are newer drivers for the soundcard? Or tried
downloading ones from the soundcard manufacturer themselves?

You'll probably want to update video and chipset drivers too.

Here's Acers site for the drivers
