Game will not Load

I have loaded unreal II, i have played half way thru the game

if I quit, shut the PC down and restart it plays so it cant be anything on the startup menu

After a while it will not load from the CD unless I uninstall and reload the game to which it plays fine again

Having looked on the system what changed the only thing is windows messenger popped up when I was online ??? this happens regularly

i cant think of anything else since nothing was loaded and no error messages created, why the game will not play is a complete mystery............help

Hi Gary,

How many days are you able to play the game before
you're forced to reinstall it? There might be something
happening on your system at a regular interval which
is causing this. Maybe it's a scheduled task?

Windows Messenger can be disabled using a utility:
