game crashing

i have total club manager 2004 and it keeps crashing at the same date in the game. Does anyone know why it does this?

scratched disc... corrupted file... reinstall and try again

I can't see any scratches on the disc. I have tried reinstalling it and it still doesn't seem to work.

have you tried looking for any patches ? also what are your system specs ?

Can patches damage your computer?

it's possible although unlikely if from reputable source. (which this one is.)

if your the nervous type then create a restore point and backup your system before applying the patch.

Just do it.
