Full Info about SHOPNBC V2 PREMIER System

If anyone has ever seen the SHOPNBC Program featuring the all in one
computer for $1600.00 with the CRT Monitor , printer/scanner/copier,
camera, DVD Player, all the software you would find it impossible to
get all that stuff for this price anywhere. The ONLY People that would
not want this system are serious gamers playing The latest games. Why?
Because the Video Card is an intergrated 32 mb and shares memory with
the system. Does this make this a bad deal? No but if you play 3D
Games this system will not run your games smoothly unless you add a
seperate video card .

With a CRT monitor?
It would be difficult to make it cost that much if we didn't want
the software.

If it's Intel Integrated video it may not even run some
screen-savers smoothly, let alone games. There's nothing wrong
with integrated video, yet it is a sign that they were willing to
cut corners on a $25 part in a $1600 system, which isn't
appropriate for a box costing over $500, IMHO.

Wow 1600 bucks. Thats actually a fair amount to spend on a system.

no shipping and tax

And I would be looking to find a better deal actually on the
CPU + MB combo but you can get that now at Newegg

And Id be looking to get a better deal on the mouse , I got one free
after rebate a while back and another for $5.

The Viewsonic - you can often get online coupons to lower the price a
little more at office supply stores.

The canon printer ip1500 just came out --- my neighbor bought it for
39 with an online 10 off coupon. There was $29 scanner deal like the
old days at compusa a two months ago but not lately.

Logitech 640z -- was discounted and so were other 5.1s off and on the
last two months but not lately. Two places had it for 49 after rebate.

And of course you can easily buy the ATI 9800 instead or a variety of
lesser graphics cards than the 6800GT for 399. You could get the
Antec 400w tower for $100 and look around for a deal for an even lower
price. It was at Compusa rebated a few months ago for $79 .

And of course most people have stuff they can carry over - monitor ,
KB, mouse, printer , scanner and even case /PS and mem to a newer
system so the price can really plummet. And I would wait for
Thanksgiving and Xmas sales for bigger deals.

That is true. The Software that they say retails for over $2,500 is
the ONLY thing that is a plus. I know all of it comes installed but...
Do you get the CD'S???
