Frustrated with e-mail

I hooked up my wireless about 2 weeks ago and added e-mail to my laptop. For
the first 4-5 days I received e-mails fine on both laptop and desktop then I
quit receiving any e-mail. I could still send. I read thru these help
questions and reset the what should be checked under delivery-laptop has all
3 choices checked and desktop has both boxes checked, but not the one about
removing from server after xx days. I have webroot on the laptop and had the
e-mail attachment shield turned off. I get no error messages, but know
people have sent e-mails that I have not received. When you send/receive it
looks like you should be getting e-mail and then just says no new messages.
I don't understand why it would work for a few days and then suddenly stop.

3rd party software disrupts the functionality of Windows Mail. See point 3
here: www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 I would guess that your "webroot"
program is the problem.
