I am using FrontPage 2003. My Server is Powweb .com. My webpage is
http://www.celinamorris.com. Problem: When I publish my file after about 1/2
hour I get a time out saying "the service sent a response that FrontPage
could nout parse. If you are trying to connect to shareware service check with
my admintrator. I don't have a shareware program on my site. In trying to
publish my files, the size in my root folder will be one size but when I try
changing it by publishing or copy and paste ,the file will not change in my
remote files. I am very frustrated. I can open my ste but it is not right. My
server did a complete change on their site and since then I am having a
problem. I have written to them many time and they keep saying that I don,t
have a problem on my site that they can see. My site is opening up okay. But
it is not

"shareware" service? I think you mean "Sharepoint" - which is a Microsoft
server/web technology.

I don't know how to fix it - I suggest you contact your host.

Half an hour for one file? Or do you mean several files contained in
the site?

The error you get is often an indication that the website is too large
for the system and network you are uploading to/with. This size limit
depends on the hardware involved (both the server and your PC), how busy
the server is, and your connection speed. Break the site into subwebs,
and publish each subweb individually. Your host must support subwebs.

When creating the subwebs, remember that each subweb is treated as an
independent web site, with its own themes and navigation structure. Any
themes, shared borders, include pages and FPnavigation in the root web
will not carry into the subwebs.
