Using Frontpage 2003. Website is httP://www.celinamorris.com. My oroblem.
When publishing after about 20 minutes I get a time out that reads: "the
server sent a response thatfront page could not parse. If you are trying to
connect to a sharepoint service check with administrator" I am administrator,
and do not have sharepoint service on my computer.

2nd problem, I cannot get files to change sizes when I publish from folder
to remote website. If the file in the folder on my harddrrive is 100000 and
the remote is 80000 when I copy and paste or publish that file to remote
website the size will not change. It remains 80000.

Can someone help

Go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download FP Cleaner ( with Expression Web Designer and
SharePoint Designer support )
Download links are at the bottom of the page.
Run the functions that clear:
The Hidden Temporary files.
The Hidden Cache (*.web) files.

After it's done, open the site and click Tools > Recalculate Hyperlinks and then publish.

The error *may* (could be something else) be indicating that your
website is too big for the systems you are using. The systems include
your PC, the server you are publishing to, and the network in between.
The error is most common with a slow connection. Breaking the site into
subwebs may alleviate the problem, but may require changes to the
navigation, themes, shared borders or include files if used in the
subwebs.

Since you are uploading to a Unix server, the page on the server will
nearly always be smaller than the same page on your local web. For
every carriage return in the HTML in the page, expect to lose one byte
on the server. This is because line endings on Windows consist of
CR+LF, whereas on Unix it is only LF.
