Hello
I have installed Windows XP Pro EN and Front Page 2002 SP1 EN,
IIS 5.1 on my computer.
When I want to open my firm's web on remote www server,
FrontPage does not ask me for authentication an just stops with error. But
when I try the same address on an Windows 2000 computer, FrontPage(same
version as mine) ask for authentication. I also want to see the Operators
tab on IIS (v5.1).
I have read Windows XP has two different behavior than Windows
200:
1. All network users acts on Xp as Guest.
2. Xp acts as guest on network.
I revert back the first one by changing Local Policy key Sharing
and Security model for local accounts to this value Classic - Local users
authenticate as themselves.
But I do not know how I can revert back the second one.
Is it possible to necessary re-installing FrontPage, IIS and
same others to make these applications be aware about the new security
policy ?
Sorry for my bad English.
With My Best Regards
