frontpage publishing

Whenever I publish my changed web, Frontpage doesn't remove the deleted files
from the server as it always has.

Of course I can delete them manually from the server but that's kind of
tedious, and besides that it misses the point...why did FP's behavior change?
is this new with 2003?
 
Make you have selected the Change Pages Only option when publishing.
