FrontPage 2003 Tripod/Angelfire Conflicts

B

Bonnie Farner

Hello, I'm new to any newsgroups, but was advised to post my problem here to
find a solution.

Recently, I found I am unable to open any of my Angelfire or Tripod sites
using MS FrontPage 2003.

All sites are FP Enabled, but I keep getting this error message.

"The server could not complete your request. Contact your Internet Service
provider or Web server administrator to make sure that the server has the
FrontPage Serve Extensions or SharePoint Services installed.

Also, when trying to import the web into FP, I get "The URL "/" is not
contained within a windows SharePoint Services site."

I am curious as to what happened that I can no longer edit these sites using
FP 2003.

I have disabled all my popup blockers and firewalls.

The option to edit using FP from the file menu on IE is no longer there for
Angelfire or Tripod sites, but is there for other sites.

Any help/advice is so greatly appreciated.

Marie

They may be installed, but maybe are not configured properly or have become
corrupt.
