FrontPage 2002 Publishing Problem

T

Tracy

Web site created with FrontPage 2002 running on windows
XP.

Problem with publishing the web site to a IIS 5 server -
with Frontpage server extention 2000.

Error message:

Server error cannot open file service.lck file for
publishing.

Deleted the service.lck file on the server and local PC,
still can not publish the web site with same problem.

Need help with this to get the web site up and running.

Thanks....

On the server, open the IIS MMC, right click on the specific web and then
run a check on the extensions.

PS also try deleting all *.web files in Windows Explorers before you reopen FP
