Some hosts have the default max file size set to 1 MB
- also make sure you do not have any thumbs.db files in your local site

| Hope you are still there. started small, created a subweb within a
| web. I have no spent the last 5 hours trying to publish it. it
| uploads about 20 to 40 photos and then server times out. sometimes I
| have to retry three to 4 times, before I can reconnect to server, then
| it times out within seconds. I have a DSL connection. sounds awful
| fishy to me. again, am I hitting my head against the wall. sure
| seems like a server problem??? Keith
